Dr. Robert F. Wescott, President of Keybridge Research, testifies before the Senate Appropriations Energy and Water Subcommittee on U.S. energy security and the long-term implications for the U.S. economy. In particular, Dr. Wescott discusses Keybridge’s economic modeling analysis of the Energy Security Leadership Council’s “Recommendations to the Nation on Reducing U.S. Energy Dependence.” Conducted jointly by Keybridge and the Interindustry Forecasting Project at the University of Maryland (Inforum), the study employs the Inforum LIFT model to estimate the long-term economic impacts of the Council’s proposed policies for reducing the oil dependence on the U.S. economy.
